How to remove the sunshields:
- Flip the frame so that the bottom edge faces you, and you see the bottom pin face straight towards you
- Turn the sun shield halfway out, so you can grab it properly.
- Hold the frame with one hand, while placing your thumb from your other hand on the sunshield close to edge of the frame (your thumb should almost rest against the frame)
- Push downwards on the sunshield, while holding the frame firm with your other hand to push the pin out. You can push down in this direction quite hard, so give it a little go. Just make sure you don’t twist or bend the pins but push directly out of the hole. The pins can be a little fragile if pushed in a direction they don’t want to go😊
- You should be able to pop out the bottom pin using this technique. Now simply flip the frame around, with the top facing towards you and repeat the steps above.
How to insert the sunshields:
- Grab the frame with one hand, and the sunshields with the other. Let’s pop in the top pin first, so hold the sun shield near the top pin.
- While holding the frame firmly, insert the pin into the hole on the top of the frame.
- Give it a gentle push, you should hear or feel a little snap.
- Once you hear the snap, repeat at the bottom of the frame.
- It’s easier to insert the bottom pin if you fold the sun shield out to have a small gap near the frames, so it almost sits in place when folded out.
- Insert the bottom pin in the hole, and press until you hear a snap.
- Repeat on the other side and you’re all set😊
